Sportswear is an investment in your fitness and well-being. To ensure that your clothing retains its functionality and longevity, proper care is essential. Whether it’s high-performance functional shirts, leggings, or shorts…
Sportswear is made from special materials such as polyester, elastane, and nylon, designed to wick moisture, dry quickly, and provide freedom of movement. If these materials are not properly cared for, their breathable properties and elasticity can be compromised. This can lead to the clothing wearing out faster, developing unpleasant odors, and losing its fit.
Always wash your sportswear at low temperatures (maximum 30°C) and use a mild, enzyme-free detergent. High temperatures can damage the fibers and affect the elastic properties of the clothing. Do not use fabric softener, as it can clog the breathable pores of the fabrics and hinder moisture wicking. After washing, you should air-dry your sportswear instead of putting it in the dryer. The heat from the dryer can cause fibers to shrink and significantly shorten the lifespan of the clothing. Hang the garments up or lay them flat to dry to maintain their shape.
